Purple Circle help bring the Ashes to Trent Bridge
If you’ve ever worked with Purple Circle, you’ll know that we put return-on-investment at the heart of everything we do. It has to be pretty – but more importantly, pretty effective; or it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on.

Design for the DSA’s staff magazine
The Driving Standards Agency staff magazine is one of our most looked-forward-to projects every two months; and this edition was no exception. Every issue, we base our choice of illustration style on the cover story or overall theme. March’s was all about the DSA’s use of social media – an aspect of their communications strategy they’re very proud of. In fact, the DSA’s YouTube videos have over 2.5 million views and counting – not bad considering they’re also Facebooking, tweeting, podcasting, Flickring and blogging at the same time!
Featuring illustration by Ben Kirchner, whose quirky drawings you may have seen before in other equally high-quality pieces of editorial – The Guardian, The Independent and The Financial Times, to name just three.

A sneeky peek
Well, you asked to see more so here it is! The NCHA Annual Report comes, like Christmas, but once a year; and for us, it’s just as full of joy and treats! The brief is always creative and flexible, so it gives us an opportunity to show off all our talents – not just in [...]
NCHA Annual Report 2010
Like a bunch of excitable children at Christmas (or designers on a Friday – take your pick), we’ve just ripped open the first box of NCHA Annual Reports. The theme this year has been as original and interesting as ever to work on. Written in-house, the report was given to us to bring to life [...]
